Westfort Hockey League

The Westfort Hockey League family is saddened by the passing of our past president, and builder Chris Ziegler, Chris lost his battle with cancer on Monday, January 11, 2010 in Thunder Bay. Chris leaves his son Cody, wife Lisa and their precious baby daughter Alex.  Chris was a tremendous father, husband, and volunteer who gave countless hours of his time to make the sport of hockey better in Thunder Bay. Our association would not be where it is without Chris' dedication, determination, and forethought. Chris, we will all miss you and love you. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2010 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1400 South Edward Street with The Ven. Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., with Prayers being offered at 7:45 P.M. at the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to London Life - Alexandra Ziegler Trust Fund, c/o Freedom 55 Financial, 221 Wilson Street.
